Symantec Corporation releases its 2012 internet security software named as Symantec Norton Internet Security 2012. There are many new features introduced in the 2012 version and also some of the old features are increased in performance. Also with the increase in performance the protection has been doubled compared to its old versions. The three best features that we found in Symantec Norton Internet Security 2012 are :
1. Norton System Insight :
This is a new feature released by Symantec Corporation with its 2012 internet security software. What norton system insight does is it monitors your Pc’s performance level, and tunes up so that applications can run more faster. Also it checks your system processes for suspicious programs that run to slow down your PC and if it detects the processes which use most of your memory are infected or finds any unknown processes running in your PC are self installed viruses, it simply removes or repairs those processes. By this it restores your PC’s speed and performance back to normal.
2. Norton Safe Web :
This is also another new feature introduced in Norton Internet Security 2012. This module installs a browser plug in and filters your search results from dangerous’s web sites. In others works if you are using google search engine and if you search something, what norton does is it tells you which web pages on search results are safe to visit and which pages are unsafe.
2. Norton Advance Click :
This feature is also newly released with Symantec Norton Internet Security 2012. What this feature does it, it scans web pages that link from one web site to another and reads the scripts linking web site and says whether its safe for you to click the link to visit the relevant linked web site. Also this features blocks popup’s that pop when clicking a link so that browser exploits from popup’s are unable to attack.
